Age of Conan publisher Funcom will be merging a number of the online world's servers, reducing the total count of individual online realms from 49 to a mere 18.This news follows the successful merger of the "Bloodspire" and "Hyperborea" servers on January 7. Despite the PC version's woes, Funcom recently renewed a commitment to release Age of Conan on the Xbox 360 sometime this year.Long-time MMO fans will no doubt recognize server mergers -- particularly those on such a relatively vast scale -- as proof of an online world's ailing health.
