Aoc Explodes Into The Mmo Realm

AoC is the latest MMORPG offering from Funcom, the developer of Anarchy Online. In Age of Conan the fine line between just and otherwise is non-existant, many players may become bewildered by the nature of the game, even being forced to question morality itself.Though the games launch schedule made it a prime competitor for Electronic Art’s Warhammer Online, Funcom have managed to release the game almost 6 months prior to the predicted date given by Electronic Arts. Though their competitor produced a much higher budget, many are anticipating AoC to outsell Warhammer Online as the game goes from strength to strength.

Many speculate what the future of Funcom’s latest venture is, but it is certain to have a huge impact on the current MMORPG industry. Future releases could benefit from the planned lead up to AoC’s release, building significant hype whilst not alienating the core audience which needs to be attracted.
