Age of Conan Gets Massive Update DateTime:9/27/2009 11:20:23 AM
The MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) market is a huge one, with a large number of players delving every day into a mythical adventure against different types of monsters with individual goals.
Recently, Funcom, the developer of Age of Conan, has just announced that it has implemented a massive update for the game, one that brings new territories and quests for players who wanted a more high-end gameplay experience. Ever since its launch, this game has attracted a lot of casual players with its user friendly interface and simple quests, but more hardcore players complained that the game didn't offer much of a challenge after your character progressed to the last level.World of Warcraft currently dominates the market with over 11 million subscribers, a number that will surely go up with the recent launch of the second expansion of the game, Wrath of the Lich King. But other games are making quite a considerable dent in the user base of WoW, with titles such as Warhammer Online or Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, which attract a lot of players.
