Age of Conan's Spells

To view your spells use the "B" key on your keyboard or click the Spells button in the Character Menu at the top of your screen. If you are playing a Mage or Priest then you will receive new "Spells" as you level up. Note that some classes receive both Spells and Combos. A spell may be either Friendly or Hostile. Priests will have a large variety of Friendly spells such as heals and buffs (spells which increase the stats of your own character and other players), while their Hostile spells will be limited. Mages will have a large variety of Hostile spells which are to be cast upon the enemy to cause damage.

In order to cast a spell simply press the corresponding icon on your Hotbar. Spellcasters do not typically engage in melee combat, instead they stand back and use their large arsenal of spells. Each spell that you cast will consume "Mana" so be sure to watch your blue bar! Mana will replenish with rest. Additionally, spells have a refresh period during which the spell be unusable.
